Hello. Sorry to keep writing, but still cannot get MaxDB to install on Fedora Core 1 (it worked fine on Red Hat 9.0)

I downloaded the following RPMs:
maxdb-callif-7.5.0.12-1.i386.rpm
maxdb-ind-7.5.0.11-1.i386.rpm
maxdb-srv75-7.5.0.11-1.i386.rpm
maxdb-testdb75-7.5.01.00alpha2-1.i386.rpm
maxdb-web-7.5.0.11-1.i386.rpm

from at.rpmfind.net. Everything installed (in the order of -ind, -srv, -testdb, -callif) except the last one, maxdb-web. I got an error message which said:
/usr/spool has to be a link to ../var/spool
error: %pre(maxdb-web-7.5.0.11-1) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
error: install: 4pre scriptlet failed (2), skipping maxdb-web-7.5.0.11-1

I checked on my successful RH9 install and /usr/spool was not a linux symbolic link. So does anyone know what this message might mean?

Has anyone successfully installed on FC1? Would you mind describing how it was done?

Thanks,

Si Chen
