Hi Markus, srvinst56 is the current installer in 7.5 and it contains a precompiled perl 5.6.1 or 5.005 (not in cvs). but it should be possible to use your installed perl.
srvinst58 is a parallel development branch without any precompiled binaries. this is used to develop an installation gui and isn't released yet.
