I'm trying to install yet another database (the 5th) on a server, but it looks like the machine has enough of it ;)
Description: There are 5 database instances each installed in a separate software directory (SDBINST, profile 9) (/var/maxdb/<dbname>/7500) I use the DBM GUI for all the db creations. That always worked perfect, except for the latest db I want to install. The error is: kernel died before reaching admin state. I looked at knldiag and knldiag.err files, but can not identify any error messages.(I can make then available if needed) I have increased the setting in /proc/sys/kernel/sem, but to no success. What can be wrong or where else can I look?
