Hello all,
I am doing a massive import of an Access DB to MaxDb using the ODBC
driver (windows 2000 server). Once I import all the data to the maxdb
database, I do updates on columns. Several rows (1000's) can be affected by
an update. It takes MaxDb hours to do this. I have created indexes and
that sort of thing. It appears that the DB just hangs. I go to the process
manager and there is no processing going on and there is plenty of memory.
I have the autolog on (it has hung on me before for having the log fill). I
am using transactions. If I just leave everything alone, after a long time
(hours) it will finally complete. Can you offer any suggestions on how to
speed this up?

Thanks,
      Mark
