First, it would be interesting what sources the Gartner Group has for this statement and how the circumstances were. Similar, one could say, once the Porsche reaches 140 miles/h the acceleration starts to be worse and worse. Although everybody agrees, nobody thinks that a Porsche is a lame duck. > Is that true? Do you have > any experience about that? What size do you have in you SAPDB > databases? Please look especially pages 22ff. A,B and C are well known DBs. http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/pdf/teched03.pdf With kind regards Thomas Kötter ---------------------------------------------- Dr. Thomas Kötter SAP AG, SAP Labs Berlin Do you know SAP^H^H^H MaxDB ? www.sapdb.org -- MaxDB Discussion Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
