Hi all
Using version 7.4.3.29 (SapDB, I assume it's similar
to MaxDB 7.5) we ran a database verify from SAP. It
never ended, and appeared stuck. In the meantime, we
couldn't backup the database nor the log files.
After canceling the job from SAP, it seems the
database process is still running, as if we try
backing up now we get the error:
ERR_SQL: sql error
1,utility session is already in use
Is there some running utility at OS level that I could
kill to resume normal operation? How can I know which
one? I need to be able to run backups again, hopefully
without having to restart the database.
