I have compiled maxdb source, but I don't know how to make it running?

I  successed compiled the maxdb source(include windows and linux). now I want to make 
a maxdb server.
I use these command in my linux:
shell> dbmcli db_create TEST01 dbm,dbm
but it failed! the error message is : 
Error! Connection failed to node (local) for database (no dbname): no installation 
found 

What shall I do after that? And how to install the maxdb use compiled the souce code?
