Hi, are there any plans for MaxDB v7.6 to allow the usage of languages like java or perl for the implementation of serverside stored procedures?
There are a lot of tasks which are difficult or impossible to express with the internal sql language. For example it would be nice to make use ubiquitous features of perl like regular expression matching. That for sure would open the database for a broader range of applications while keeping the business logic concentrated in the db itself and not spreading it all over the peripheral using components.. What do other MaxDB users think of this ?
