Hello,

Thanks for your help,

we tried out what you suggested, but on the commandline we got the error: 'Unknown Parameter.... USE_COROUTINES'
changing this with the online-dbmanager was ok.
but as we restartet the database, it fails immediately.

Now we upgraded from running Version 7.5.014 to 019 (?) - the latest release on the site.

Now we think of a hardware failure, but there no logentrys about defective partitions etc. , also on a reboot everything seems fine for a while, the dbs fails.
(We use two partitions for logging (hda8 + hdb8) and two for data (hda9 + hdb9) )

Any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance,
sincerely
Volker

so the database crashes with signal 11, SIGSEGV, ouch! and without any readable comments in the logfile.
The system is Redhat 9 with Kernel 2.4.21-9.0.3.EL and we use maxDB 7.5.00

You can try to disable coroutines:

# dbmcli -u <dbm>,<pwd> -d <DB> param_directput USE_COROUTINE NO

and restart the DB server.

This ist just a quick shot so don't nail me...
