Hi Daniel, O.K. finally I got it. The Logfile said, that libperfstat.a was missing. Unfortunately SDBINST didn't tell me that. Well, it took me some time to find the corresponding install package and ist location on the media.
Hints from SAP Basis Community, about installation of Oracle database. ************************** To install fix IY28766, bos.perf.libperfstat and bos.perf.perfstat packages must be already installed. To install this packages; Location of files: /cd1/usr/sys/inst.images/ installp -ld . | grep -i bos.perf.libperfstat install -acXgd . bos.perf.lisperfstat ************************** Afterwards I had to update these packages to maintenance level 07. After installing and updating these packages, I removed all installation directories of MaxDB and gave the MaxDB installer another try. And guess what, it ended up successfully . Thanks a lot for your help.
