This is mainly a system engineering problem but i would like to ask the mailing list if anybody has come over a similar problem in the past.
We need to interact with a maxdb database in a private network coming from an internet connection.
We have only ssh connection to this private network We have tried to tunnel sqlstudio through ssh, using the "ip forwarding" feature of ssh, but it seems not to work.
Could anybody confirm that this scenario is viable? Does sqlstudio uses any other port to connect to the server?
