for 7.6.10, we normaly require a glibc >= 2.3.3 and a 2.6.x Kernel. Most modern Linux-Distros match these requirements. On a RedHat/SuSE/$whateverisRPMbased, you can find out your glibc-Version by typing rpm -q -a | grep -i glibc which should produce something like this: glibc-locale-2.3.3-98.38 glibc-info-2.3.3-98.38 glibc-2.3.3-98.38 glibc-devel-2.3.3-98.38 glibc-i18ndata-2.3.3-98.38 glibc-profile-2.3.3-98.38 glibc-html-2.3.3-98.38 Regards, Falko -- Falko Flessner SAP Labs Berlin SAP AG -- MaxDB Discussion Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
