Hello listmembers!
All installations I am talking about later in this mail take place on
Windows based computers (Windows 2000 Pro (SP4), Windows XP Home (SP2) -
both are localized to german language).
I am working with an older installation of MaxDB based on 7.5.00.18. I
upgraded this installation with 7.5.00.24 and today I upgraded once again
with 7.6.00.12. It seems to work fine so far, but there is one thing I am
wondering about:
Opening the tool 'Database Manager' I get a nag-screen that states 7.5.00.18
as the tools version. I proofed this information by having a look at the
About-screen of the tool.
After the update from 7.5.00.18 to 7.5.00.24 I thought that it might be
possible that there is no newer version of the Database Manager, so I did
not have a closer look on it. But as I am using another installation of
MaxDB (7.6.00.10) on an other host I know that there exists newer versions
(On the 7.6.00.10-MaxDB I am using Database Manager with version 7.6.00.3).
I checked the same things on the tool 'SQL Studio' and it seems, that this
tool is not updated too.
So what I want to know is, what I have to do to update the tools ('Database
Manager' and 'SQl Studio')?
