Hello Kris,

to do this, one could use the 'form dialog' (3rd button from the left
on the button bar): Drag a table symbol from the catalog tree and drop
it on a form dialog window. Uncheck the read-only check box and edit.
You can also import files into LONG column entries (right mouse click
menu).
The 'Filter' feature allows you to constrain the set of acessible rows.

regards,

Markus

Subject: SQL Studio - visual content modification?

Hi all;

We're by now running MaxDB in a productive environment (where it
replaced MSSQL7), and the developer of our DMS by now is used to, if
necessary, edit data sets within a database table using the MSSQL
Enterprise Manager where it is able to edit table content in a merely
"table oriented" way, adding or changing data sets without having to use
SQL commands.

Being aware that this is probably a stupid question given that the tool
is named _SQL_ Studio: Is there any way to do "Edit content" instead of
just "Show Content" within there?

Thanks and bye,
Kris
