I just posted a message about how I got it to run, but it also seems
that I had created the extern directory in the wrong place.  Based on
your question below, I found the correct location to place the files and
once I did that, it ran fine.  I didn't need any additional jar files.

I trust someone will be fixing the documentation to make it a lot
clearer what is needed and where it should go.
