Hi, I faced an error when I tried to perform a full backup of a MaxDB v7.6.00 Build 012-123-102-632 instance.
I defined a backup medium: Q:\maxdb>dbmcli -d %SID% -u %MAXDB_DBM_USR%,%MAXDB_DBM_PWD% -c medium_put datafull2 Q:\maxdb\db_backup\%SID%\data_full2 FILE DATA 0 Q:\maxdb>dbmcli -d %SID% -u %MAXDB_DBM_USR%,%MAXDB_DBM_PWD% -c medium_getall OK [...] datafull2 Q:\maxdb\db_backup\%SID%\data_full2 FILE DATA 0 8 NO NO 20050830130221 20050830130221 NONE Then I started the backup and recieved a -24988/ -903 error (pls. see below): Q:\maxdb>dbmcli -d %SID% -u %MAXDB_DBM_USR%,%MAXDB_DBM_PWD% -uUTL -c backup_start datafull2 data ERR -24988,ERR_SQL: Sql error -903,Host file I/O error,wrong path specified [3] 17,Servertask Info: because Error in backup task occured 10,Job 1 (Backup / Restore Medium Task) [executing] WaitingT1 Result=3700 6,Error in backup task occured, Errorcode 3700 "hostfile_error" knldiag.err [...] 2005-08-30 13:10:46 0x704 ERR 18499 IO Wrong path 'Q:\maxdb\db_backup\%SID%\data_full2' 2005-08-30 13:10:46 0x10B4 ERR 52012 SAVE error occured, basis_err 3700 Is there someone who has an idea what is wrong?
