Hi List, i have one great unsolved problem. I have a SAPDB 7.3 running on a SuSE Linux 8.2 machine (P4 1,7 Ghz, 256MB RAM). I want to migrate the database to a Windows Server 2003 machine (P4 3 GHz, 2GB RAM) runing MaxDB 7.6. The migration is running with no problems. I did an migration backup on SAPDB, recovery on MaxDB, rebuild indexes and update statistics. On both machines the datadevspaces are files.
The problem is, that the new machine is running with very bad performance. The database i accesed via servlets, and without exact measurement i think it is 10-20 tims slower. All parameters i can see are good. The database is configured like many other databases running on our servers. (But all Linux) Is it a problem with windows? Thanks, Olaf -- Dipl. Inform.
