Hi all, I have a performance problem between SAP-DB 7.4.03.32 (SLES-7), Windows XP MS Access 2002 (10.xx), ODBC-Driver MAX-DB 7.5.
As far as I can see from the SQL-Trace of the ODBC-Driver the requests to the SAP-DB will be answered in 1 second. The time between one SQL-Command and the next SQL-Command issued by Access is about 5 seconds! Since nobody knows a programming design error which always wait 5 seconds between 2 SQL-Commands I can't see any reason why the delay occurs. The ODBC-Driver has the following configuration items selected: SQLMODE: Internal ISOLATION-LEVEL: Commited TRACE: OFF TRUNCATE-LONG-COLUMNS: SQL_NO_TOTAL AUTOCOMMIT: ON Can anybody help me to get out of this poor performance ? SAP-DB seems not a performance problem to me. Maybe it is Access or the ODBC-Driver ?
