Select * from tables

Hello list,

we have updated our testsystem with MaxDB from 7.5.00.16 to 7.5.00.24
Now the SQL-Statement "select * from tables" leads to the following error message: 
   -811 Numeric output parameter overflow

We assume the column "sample_percent" causes this error.
Is this a critical error (means also a problem for other - normal user tables) or can we go to this version on a productive system?
