Hello Attila,

As you are a SAP customer, we would like to advise you to open an OSS
message for that problem.

Best regards,

Subject: Converte Permanent pageno 1 not in backup

Hi all,

I am trying to set our MaxDB ('Kernel 7.5.0 Build
030-121-100-791') in auto log mode back.
In the beginning the database was set to auto log mode, the log was
archived, all run fine; then would for some reasons set to log auto
overwrite. Now I try to set it back.

By issuing a full backup I get errors:

  Process was started successfully.
Backint for MaxDB has been started successfully.

2006-02-01 15:00:19
Waiting for end of the backup operation.
2006-02-01 15:00:19 The backup tool is running.
2006-02-01 15:00:19 The database is working on the request.

2006-02-01 15:00:22 The database has finished work on the request.
Receiving a reply from the database kernel.
Got the following reply from db-kernel:
        SQL-Code :-9051

2006-02-01 15:03:05
Filling reply buffer.
    Have encountered error -24920:
The database was unable to fulfill a request (-9051, System
error: BD Invalid FBM mark).

    Constructed the following reply:
        ERR
        -24920,ERR_BACKUPOP: backup operation was unsuccessful
The database was unable to fulfill a request (-9051, System
error: BD Invalid FBM mark).
Reply buffer filled.

In the knldiag.err file I constantly get:

2006-02-03 07:22:57 16030 ERR 20 Converte Permanent pageno 1 not in
backup pageno list
2006-02-03 07:22:57 16030 ERR 52116 SAVE *** BAD PAGE devno : 1
2006-02-03 07:22:57 16030 ERR 52116 SAVE *** BAD PAGE offset: 7
2006-02-03 07:22:57 16030 ERR 52116 SAVE *** BAD PAGE id : 1

The running product is SAP WAS, but for now I try to use the quick and
smart way via community before I would open an OSS for it by SAP :)

Could you please give me some hints about the elimination of the error?

Thanks for your answers,

Attila Sitkei
