Hello Alfonso, If you are administrator or root on your machine, you can:
1. Make the database invisible: Windows: Remove key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SAP DB<database name> from the windows registry. Unix: Remove entry of the database from the file <indep_data>/config/Databases.ini . 2. Uninstall the software: sdbuninst -all Best regards, Tilo Heinrich SAP Labs Berlin P.S.: Please use the MaxDB mailing list (http://lists.mysql.com/#maxdb) next time. -----Original Message----- From: Alfonso Inthamoussu [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, February 22, 2006 4:05 PM To: Heinrich, Tilo Subject: maxdb instance help Helo Tilo I'm from Uruguay and trying to improve my knowledge on SAP. I have a MAXDB installation on my machine (I didn't performed the installation). The fact is that I need to uninstall it, in order to install a version of miniSAP (is mandatory not to have any previous MAXDB installed). But as I didn't install the base, I don't know the users and passwords. Is there any way to get the users? (and at least try to guess the passwords). Or, if you can tell me an other way to uninstall the product... Thanks in advance and regards Alfonso -- MaxDB Discussion Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
