Hi,

if i call pstree, i see much much more vserver processes then i see
sessions in DBMGui.

The number of vserver processes matches the number of TCP-connections
that are alive. And even thought there are those TCP-connections, i only
see a few connected users/sessions in the DBMGUI.

Does anybody have a theory about that?

The TCP-connections were established by the JDBC-driver - and there
seems to be a bug in a software, so that connections get
garbage-collected instead of being closed properly.

Is there any kind of mechanism to resuse TCP-connections in the
JDBC_driver? It seems, that the TCP-connections don't get closed
although the JDBC-connection gets garbage collected.

Greetings
  Sven
