There's actually no way of finding out, which SQL statement is in processing (with "normal" tools). You can do a vtrace but this is a VERY technical trace. If you know it's "slow" then you know what the user is doing when it's running slow. I'd tell that the developer of the software and ask, what he is doing/selecting on the database.
