Hi,
We have a MaxDB 7.5.00.05 running on our (old) Windows Server and want to
migrate the databases to our Linux based servers. Unfortunately we have
installed a 7.5.00.26 version on the linux machine.
A complete data backup can be restored on the new machine, but after that
somethings broken: SQLStudio doesn't give the names of the tables, but
instead throws an error, and some other things don't work as before.
After restoring the database with a backup made on the linux machine
(7.5.00.26) everything was fine again.
This makes me believe that I cannot import a 7.5.00.05 backup to a 7.5.00.26
database. Is this right? How can I migrate the data to the new database?
Any help appreciated.
