At first, thanks a lot for your hints. I will give it a try then to see whether I can get rid of my error that way. And yes, making the statement less complex would be the best way to go (after all, I see that modifying database parameters just will temporarily fix the problem - complexity of these statements is likely to increase as time passes and the amount of documents within the system gets bigger). However, right now we're unable of changing how that query actually looks like. Right this way it is created by the database core of the DMS we use, and we're not entitled to change the way this query is being built. We'll try working on it however.
