Hello list, we have last weekend and yesterday some problems with our database server, which are related to the issues described in: - http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb/27328 - http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb/27882
Our new server works very well for nearly two weeks, when the number of vserver processes on our linux system (Suse 9.3) grows last sunday from normally 30 to about 100 (maximum is 200) and we get various error messages from our applications (jboss, perl, php), that they can't connect to the database anymore. After restarting the x_server at sunday midday we get the same effect in the evening, so that we started the whole machine (reboot). On monday morning same happens again. The strange thing is, that the number of sessions (select count(*) from sessions, Database Manager list of sessions) didn't rise above 30 sessions, but the main info window of the Database Manager shows the same number of sessions like vservers are running. It seems to me, that there are blocked much more connections than really used by our applications. We are using MaxDB 7.6.00.32 (64 Bit) with JDBC, ODBC, Perl (DBI/DBD) and PHP (ODBC) connections. Are there any known problems with certain drivers?
