I used DBM GUI, I went to the parameters module, edited this parameter
and provided a new value, but the module did not accept it, I mean, it
did not reflect the new value as it does with other parameters. It
allowed me to edit it, but with no visual effect, always remained the
original value.

How did you try and what was the result?
What did you mean with 'I cannot'? Which error occurred,
which sequence of commands did you use to change and check?
