The application has to know, which ODBC-driver to choose. Unfortunately, the error message did not say, which ODBC-driver should be selected. You can check the MaxDB ODBC installation with: odbcreg <Return> The result shows the driver, which is installed under the name "MaxDB". odbcreg -g returns a list of the data sources and installed drivers. Maybe this information helps.
