Hello Kristian,

You have to recover the backup into a newly created database, export the table
using MaxDB's Loader and import the table into the original database. There is
no shorter way to extract a single table from a backup.

Subject: recover single table from backup?

Folks;

is there a meaningful way how to recover a single table (which has been
deleted from the DB instance) from a (full/incremental) backup medium
without having to restore the full database instance? Right now, I
tried achieving something like this using a "newly" created DB instance
and the backups of the "old" one, which seems to be a rather tedious
way. Is there a better solution than that?

Thanks in advance and bye,
Kristian
