Hi, in case you don't know about it, there is a very nice open source tool that generates interactive schema documentation including tables, columns, indexes, ER diagrams and more. It is java based, and it is called schemaSpy.
* http://schemaspy.sourceforge.net/ I tested it with MaxDB, with some help of the author, and managed to produce documentation for my MaxDB schemas, but I observed a problem of this tool when identifiyng primary keys with MaxDB, so I patched the code and it solved the problem. The patched JAR (as well as the source) is available for anyone interested, just send me an email. I posted the patch to the project's list, but I am not sure when it will be accepted, it is very simple, just a couple of lines. Make sure you add comments to your schema objects, this tool will take advantage of that to create rich documentation.
