We are feature frozen, so no new features are being added or backported,
just testing and debugging the new stuff, giving some time for translators
to catch up and giving the documentation some love, so very soon, just a
few days at most. Thanks Dairon that's an excellent idea! Metadata types
at the moment are string based, one item on the TO DO from the early days
is to add data types support for the metadata, when this is added a date
picker widget could be made to render even by default on date type metadata.
