I downloaded and installed the VirtualBox Appliance image.

After the first boot, I set the timezone using "dpkg-reconfigure tzdata"
and rebooted.

The date command output on the virtual machine now matches date command
output on the host machine.

After uploading a file, I viewed the file details, and then Document
Properties, where the Date added and Time added are displayed.

The Time added property appears to be displayed with the original timezone
of the VM rather than the correct timezone. The original timezone for the
VM was AST, which is the local timezone for Puerto Rico. I used
dpkg-reconfigure to change the time zone to 'America/Edmonton'.

How do I configure Mayan EDMS server to display time using the timezone
configured for the (virtual) server machine?

Can I configure Mayan EDMS to support users from different timezones, so
that dates and times will be displayed in the local timezone for each user?

Thanks.
