After a lot of struggling I got Mayan installed on MacOSX, running with "DEBUG" and "DEVELOPMENT" = True.
When I upload my first document, Mayan crashes with a warning, saying the 'mimetype' column has been truncated. I checked and the 'mimetype' field in the model has a size of only 64? The document I am uploading is a Microsoft Office 'DOCX' with mimetype of 'application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document' which is more than 64. I think limiting the mimetype field to 64 chars is a bug as quite a few of the Microsoft Office document types has mimetypes exceeding 64 chars. I will change the model, regenerate my database and see if that sorts out the problem... -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mayan EDMS" group.
