Hello group members I am a newbie to python. I installed successfully the mayan-edms v 1.1.1on Fedora 22 and it start correctly in Mayan EDMS (Debug mode). The venv is in /opt/mayan-edms/evnv. My challenge is to move to a production environment with the correct database schema.
I run the command pip install psycopg2 and it installed successfully the latest version of psycopg2. From that stage I am stuck. Could you please direct me in baby steps (please indicate if my Fedora root user is required and the directory to apply commands): 1. How to create my postgresql database. 2. How to generate the static folder. 3. The precise URL to deploy mayan-edms from in production mode. I understand that in production mode I no longer need to start "/opt/mayan-edms/venv/bin/mayan-edms.py runserver" and have to use the static folder. Were should I place the static folder and what ownership should it have. I assume that the above 3 tasks is all that I need to use Mayan-EDMS. I am 65 years old ICT professional and look forward to use mayan-edms to collate all my extensive personal documents.
