Today we have our second stand alone app for Mayan EDMS. This app allows automatic renaming of documents as their are uploaded. Document renaming templates use the Django template language and have access to all the tags it provides. In addition the app allows users to create sequences which autoincrement as their are used. There is no limit on the number of sequnces that can be created. One renaming template can be specified per document type.
