Here is a sample of my data. The Polygon data are actual latitudes and
longitudes and depths in a harbour. The point data are x, y, z components of
the velocity and direction of the water. 

When I open this file in MayaVi the vectors are not pointing in the correct
directions and do not have correct magnitudes.

Have I not got the correct format?

Can you please post a *small* test data file along with instructions
on how to reproduce the error.  Only then would it be possible for
someone to help you out.
