I am doing a MSc. project and UCL in London and was wondering if you could
help. Is there any way of opening and manipulating MayaVi from Matlab?
I have a program which converts some data to a .VTK format. At the moment
you have to open MayaVi separately to view the .VTK files, but ideally I
want to be able to save the data, and automatically open MayaVi to view the
files with some useful settings (eg. ScalarCutPlane, a particular colour
scheme etc.) from within the Matlan environment.
Do you think this is achievable, and if so, do you have any tips on how to
go about it?
