Hi, Yesterday evening I received news that both Mayavi and TVTK won FOSS India awards. Here's the official announcement:

In particular I thank those of you who encouraged me when I wanted to quit. I am grateful for Enthought's support in 2004-2005, their hosting and work on ETS. I thank Gaël for helping move Mayavi2 forward with his efforts in various respects over the last 8 months. Mayavi2 and TVTK would not be what they are but for the rest of ETS which includes Traits and Envisage. Of course, none of this would have been possible without VTK and Python.
