Hi all, Using MAYAVI I have made a 3D iso_surface plot of a scalar field defined on a 3d regular grid. Great! Now, I would like to apply a transformation to the coordinates of my 3d regular grid and visualize the result of the iso_surface plot on such transformed coordinates. I would use this to make accurate 3D contour plots in toroidal geometry. The regular grid would be in cylindrical coordinate system (R,phi,Z) and the mapping being to (X,Y,Z). X=R*cos(phi) Y=R*sin(phi) In theory very simple… Any idea?
