I'll probably get some time to look at this stuff around the end of this month.

I think the problem's a little deeper. I think we need use cases, or requirements/functional spec, whatever. I think it's obvious from other discussions that there's no clear understanding of what's a feature and what's a bug. Certainly I don't know!
