svn is a command-line utility for managing code repositories. But you
don't need to use it to read the files, just use your browser, go to
http://svn.maypole.perl.org/Maypole/trunk

These files are the current latest development version of Maypole, it
hasn't been released yet, but the documentation is a lot better than
in 2.10.
