I need PPC for now and likely a year or 2/3 in the future.

My request would be PLEASE make a clean break, if all of a sudden a MBS plugin 
version took PPC out, make sure as much as possible all bugs are addressed etc. 
that there is a level of stability. Even better, if you could keep a version of 
the source around right when you made the break, then in case of emergency you 
could make a fix and make it happen. All it takes is a bit of organization.

There's not much "either/or" with these deprecating things. I didn't have much 
a problem with REAL taking PPC out after 2011r3, what I DO take issue with is 
the gotcha stuff that is "fixed" in r4 etc. and you have to make these choices.
