I want to use this class to read/write CLOBs from an Oracle database.

The "stuff" contained in the CLOB is only ASCII text with some carriage
returns, but it is a lot.

Are you saying that just a "plain" string class can handle that?

First questions: Why do you want to use this class?

Can't you simply use string functions?

I see that SQLClobMBS could benefit to have a few more constructors and
convert methods.
