Well, the problem may be that PDFs use a coordinate system which starts at the 
bottom.
And changing page height does not move content down as you would like.

Please calculate in advance how much space you need and create a page in 
matching size.

Or if this is not possible, create a new PDF later and import old page placing 
it not the right position on smaller new page size.
