Two questions:
1. There is a new "Available" method (property?) on the latest QTGrabberMBS
class. The notes say that this returns "True" on Mac OS and Windows machines. I
assume that this will *only* return "True" on Windows machines that have a
compatible version of QuickTime installed?
2. I can't remember if I asked this before: In the DirectShow Grabber, where
*exactly* should the AMCrossbarMBS class be defined? I've tried it as a
property of the DSSourceFilter (DirectShowBaseFilterMBS) and it comes back as
Nil despite there being multiple inputs on my selected device:
Dim c As DirectShowAMCrossbarMBS = DSSourceFilter.AMCrossbar
If c <> Nil Then
c.GetPinCounts(numIn, numOut)
...
Am I approaching this wrong? If not as a member of the SourceFilter, where? If
you have any words of wisdom I'd appreciate them.
