They are nearly identical. OpenAsIconsFamilyMBS is the more modern one from Mac 
OS X and OpenAsIconFamilyMBS the older one from Mac OS 9.

OpenAsIconsFamilyMBS and OpenAsIconFamilyMBS open icns files.


to get the icon of a file, use new IconMBS(file) and run the IconFamily 
function on the IconMBS object.
