Greetings,

I'm trying the NSWorkspace.activateFileViewerSelectingFiles method, because I
want to use the proper way to select files. According to Apple, this is the
method to use when the Finder isn't running and is replaced by another browser.
In my case, I'm getting no selection (while other applications, like iTunes,
successfully reveal the file in PathFinder) and this in the Console:
24.12.12 1:55:13 My Application.debug[12551] Error -600 on line 1336

To me, this log sounds like a compiled AppleScript (error -600 being when a
called app isn't running); is the activateFileViewerSelectingFiles calling a
script rather than actual events?
Also, the documentation says “Activates the Finder, and opens one or more
windows selecting the specified files.”, so I'm wondering whether this is the
true NSWorkspace call (which should handle alternative browsers). Perhaps the
documentation should read “Activates the default browser (usually the Finder),
and opens one or more windows selecting the specified files.”?

And I wish you a great Christmas!
