Christian (et. al.),

In my real-time video camera control application I would like to add the
ability for the user to *rotate* the live video image in the preview canvas.
The live rotation is working (mostly), but I have run into a slight snag
(described below) and was hoping that you and others could offer suggestions.
Here's the problem that I'm seeing:

* The incoming image is a standard 640x480 pixel NTSC (or PAL) video image
* The rotation works as expected and produces a rotated rectangular picture
with a black background
* I use TrimMBS to extract the central 640x480 pixel section for display
* As long as the rotation stays below +/- 73 degrees or so everything is fine,
above that the "rotated" image becomes narrower than 640 pixels.

Is there a *fast* method to center and overlay a <640 x 480 pixel image on
*top* of a black 640x480 rectangle?

Cheers.
