Well, can you try a call like this:

  dim f as FolderItem = SpecialFolder.Desktop.Child("IMG_4048.jpg")
  dim g as new GMImageMBS(f)
  dim a as string = g.attributeValue("EXIF:DateTime")
  MsgBox a

But use EXIF:Orientation for the key.
