Hi Christian, I’m moving over to AVFoundation from Quicktime for my webcam code and have been successful with all but cropping the video feed.
With the old quicktime code, I would grab the incoming image (JPG) and crop as needed before going to the canvas. With AVFoundation, I’m not clear on how I would do this. I’m not trying to resize the whole frame, but rather take the frame and crop (center-weighted) to the aspect ratio I would need. Do you have any suggestions?
